If you like antiques, you'll love The Questers! Welcome to our world – one which allows us to share our knowledge, learn about other collections, history and architecture. We care about the past, meet interesting people, enjoy good conversation and visit interesting historical sites.
What is a Quester? We're a unique breed with an insatiable appetite for knowledge. We're curious by nature, imaginative and enthusiastic.
Questers come in all sorts of descriptions but they all share the same motto: "It's fun to search and a joy to find." What can be more gratifying than finding that special piece you've been searching for? We roam garage sales, antique shops, flea markets, estate sales and second-hand stores equipped with a magnifying glass, measuring tape, magnet and, of course, our check book. Antique dealers love us! Spouses tolerate us.
Call it rationalization to the point of absurdity if you want, but collecting antiques of any type would be considered doing our part in the recycling process. To us antiquaries, the attic, which holds so much magic and history, is a museum filled with treasures. We march to the beat of a different drum. While others discard their "old stuff," we re-use and recycle. We're not strangers to waste-management. We are the original recyclers!
