Bardens’ Angels

Bardens’ Angels provides an opportunity for Quester members to meet once a year for a pleasant day of camaraderie, food, fun and a learning opportunity.  In past years, this event was restricted to chapter presidents (current and past) but participation dwindled to the point that the Board considered discontinuing the outing.  After some discussion with our International President, it was decided to try another approach and that was to open it to all Florida members.  At this point, this is a trial effort.

 This year’s event will take us to Bok Tower and Gardens in Lake Wales on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.  As it’s located mid-way between both east and west coasts, we hope this will encourage our members to participate.  We’ve also decided to open this outing to guests so feel free to bring a relative or friend.  The Gardens will be in the early stages of Christmas décor.  Those participating should meet at the front entrance at 10:00 am.  This will allow time to visit El Retiro (the estate house) as well as browse through the gardens.  The Carillon concert will take place at 1:00 pm and lasts 30 minutes.  The bells also ring every half hour for about 5 minutes. 

 This is an “all inclusive” package which includes the Gardens, El Retiro (the estate house) and lunch for a total of $41.26 pp.  There are two meal choices available and these are spelled out in the Fall Cracker Crumbs along with more details relative to payment arrangements.
